WHO we are
We are NOT an Animal Shelter - just two people with a deep love for animals who help the homeless animals find the loving homes the deserve.
We now own 22.5 acres and have turned it into an Animal Sanctuary -- life is good!
We are not funded by the state, county or anybody else - we use our own money to pay the vet bills which include getting the animals the vet care they need as well as having them spayed or neutered. Along with these costs we also have the cost of pet food - cat litter and animal bedding.
As of right now we do not have a tax number but are in the process of filing papers to become a tax-exempt, 501(c)3 organization.

Roman
"Roman" (above) was brought to us on Valentine's Day ... 18 years ago. He's been with us ever since. Here he is peeking through the weeds watching me clean the pool. |
How You can Help
To help with the Veterinary and pet food costs (pet food alone runs about 100 dollars a week or more ) We work for a few ebay sellers who sell T-shirts, Pillowcases, Wall Clocks, Alarm Clocks and Keychains. Write to us for links to their web sites where you can buy their products. All proceeds coming to us ... go directly to the animals so you'll not only be getting a Fun, Unique Item for yourself but helping the "Critters" out as well.
While you're here ... feel free to look around and meet some of the animals we have here at our "Critter Corral". Click Here for more information on How you can Help with placing and order or even send in a donation. We're now able to accept donation through Paypal - an online payment service where you can use your credit card to donate to the Rescue animals. Just click the button below ...
Click here to ... CONTACT US
On the left side of the page you'll find different buttons to click on. Clicking on "Coalie's story" will take you to a true story about a Rescued horse that you will never forget. Don't forget about Buddy the Draft Horse who was on his way to a slaughter house until some nice people bought him and took him home.
Thanks so much for stopping by !

Such a HAM!
"Petey" the Pitbull pup was given to us because the breeder couldn't sell him due to a bad back problem. Our Vet's say that there isn't a treatement for him but with the right care he'll be ok for quite a few years. He walks funny but shhh .. he doesn't have any idea that he's different. :) Sadly - Petey passed away in August 2007 due to lung problems .. he was only 18 months old. I have never felt such sadness .. he will always be one of the BEST things to ever happen to me. I was truly blessed to have him in my life.
